Someone asked if anyone jumped with Mike Kramer D-18 at FT Campbell. I spent 18 months at Ft Campbell and made many jumps with Mike at the parachute club. I have very fond memories of that era in my life. I always wonder what happened to him. Most of my jumps were at Elsinore after the military. It is good to comment on the old days.

Started with the Greater St Louis in 1968 under a PC. Had some trouble getting going, moved to Texas & finally mastered the sport. Only remember a few-- Bill Hayes- championship jumper-- Jim (Curly) Cowan- Nice fun guy, great jumper- Some jerk named Killian - real A H ! Moved to CA and jumped at Lodi for some time. Not anymore- got into traveling -- sking-- SCUBA-- Retired and travel lots.
Did a climb up Kilimanjaro in Africa. Would like to hear from any jumpers from the late 60's- early 70's.

Ran and owned Aechway Skydiving Center for 34 years,from 1965 until 1999 when I sold it and retired. I use to be famous because I was Dave Verner, now I am famous because I am Kirk Verner's (Arizona Airspeed) dad and Alex Verner's Grandpa!! I currently live in San Carlos Sonora in Mexico.
