Comments: Wow! Glad I found this site. I did a Google search on Loy Brydon and found this site. Lots of familiar faces. Brydon & Fortenberry were sky divers I looked up to esp. In 62 at World Champs in Orange. Lots of worthy people should be known by this site: J. Istel, Dan Poynter, Steve Snyder, Guilfoils, Lyle Cameron, Dick Emmons... (spelling is probably wrong on most of these).
Remember the TU's, Hustler- thanks to the Orange gang, Pc, & X-bow days. Even lucked out and won some competitions using a TU against the PC's- was too poor to afford one on privates pay at the time.
I jumped with Tristate in Flemington NJ, Manville, NJ, Steve Snyder's in South Jersey, Fort Sam Houston, in Tx, Fort Benning, and Fort Riley, Ks. Even used T. Taylor as a coach.
Dan Peters, D-1200.

Comments: Come on "ACE OF SPADES", if you are going to dump on people from the sport like this, at least give us your name so we can tell who is dong the crucifying. Go out, make a jump and clear your head man!

I made my first free-fall jump in 1962. Helped form the Parahawk Skydivers in 1962 by merging Eaton Rapids Skydivers and Lansing Sport Parachute Team. I was Secy-Treas. We made over 1,000 jumps at Ionia County Airport summer 1963. My PCA license was B-2263. My last jump was in Cedar Springs at the Red Flannel Festival. Parachuting days are some of my most cherished memories. Great friends, great adventure.

Jim Arender is my 1st cousin. I vividly remember seeing his picture on a magazine in about 1962 or so. Jim's Dad, Barney, was my Dad's (Monroe) younger brother. The Snake Den: http://www.tpbe.net/26thMR/index.htm
